So here we are back in the same place we were in last year. We have been fixing the boat up for the past month. She didn't like being left alone for 7 months and paid me back by keeping an inch of blackish greenish slime on her! Larry is finishing the engines as we speak and in about 2 weeks we will be ready to go. As of now, all we know is we will be heading in a Southeasterly direction! Hopefully soon Carter will let us know whether he is visiting us in June or not.
This is our drive way now. At least there is no snow to shovel, but it sure takes time to get a dinghy off the boat, into the water, and parked! Let me back up just a bit...
For those who haven't heard, we got tired of waiting for the weather to warm up in SC, so we sailed down to Florida. It was COLD and long (7days)! While Larry was asleep and I was taking my shift as Captain, hundreds of dolphins surfed our bow wake for at least a half hour! It was absolutely amazing!!
I will soon post more pics and start letting everyone know what we are up to, but if I spent my day with a camera in my hand and trying to figure this whole blog stuff out - I would have an unhappy Captain and we would never get of the coast!
